Collins said after the hourlong meeting that she questioned Hegseth about the allegations amid reports of drinking and the revelation that he made a settlement payment after being that he denies. She said she had a “good, substantive” discussion with Hegseth and “covered a wide range of topics,” including sexual assault in the military, Ukraine and NATO. A third video shows a pair of drones battling it out in a wild chase. Most read in The Sun The shotgun-wielding Ukrainian can be seen hunting down the fleeing Russian drone. After a long, daring flight the flashy new Ukrainian weapon takes charge and finds its target with a devastating strike. The compilation of videos were followed by the caption: "For the first time on video - hard drive drones shoot down other drones with shotguns. "Defenders of Ukraine are testing the developments of Lesia UA technology ." Ukraine's use of drone warfare has kept Putin's troops at bay since the conflict started almost three years ago. They have repeatedly used impressive aerial tactics to strike key Russian infrastructure and to take out incoming fighters with ease. One of the most advanced drones being used is the dragon drone which spews flesh-melting thermite onto Russian bunkers. Terrifying footage has shown the drone beginning to spew the thermite across a trench and into the entrance of a snowy Russian bunker . Anyone caught underneath the iron oxide and aluminium combination would be burned to death. After shooting the lethal mixture for around 20 seconds the drone catches fire itself and flies inside the bunker hoping to take Russian soldiers with it. Kyiv has been deploying the menacing weapon over tree lines and forests - attacking Russia with scorching hot molten. Earlier this month footage also showed Ukrainian drones equipped with machine guns being used for the first time to ambush Russian troops. Ukrainian soldiers fitted a Wild Hornets drone with an AK-47 assault rifle and used it to fire on opposition forces . It comes just days after Russian despot Putin admitted he's open for peace talks with Ukraine again - but only "if it comes to that". The ageing tyrant welcomed Slovakian PM Robert Fico to the Kremlin before Christmas and claims the pair spoke about using Slovakia as a negotiating headquarters to help solve the nearly three-year conflict. Despite the comments, Putin launched a brutal missile and drone barrage on Ukraine in a horror Christmas massacre. About one in 22 properties in regional Victoria were sold for less than their previous sale price in the past quarter, with some investors unable to service their mortgages. or signup to continue reading Quarterly data from the statistics agency CoreLogic showed regional Victoria's loss-making sales rate of 4.6 per cent between July and September. CoreLogic head of research Eliza Owen said the rate of profit-making sales has been declining across regional cities in Victoria. Bendigo's experienced a 2.1 per cent decline in home values over the past 12 months, with Ballarat, Warrnambool, Wangaratta, and Golden Plains also seeing varying levels of decline. CoreLogic's data shows the median loss was $32,500 in regional Victoria. The median holding period of the loss-making properties was about 31 months. Ms Owen said market conditions were much stronger three years ago, with low interest rates, and the market hit a high in early 2022. "People who bought then not only would have had to pay a higher price than they might buy into now, but they were also getting a mortgage on much lower interest rates," Ms Owen said. "Fast forward three years, property values are down, but interest rates are much higher. So that might promote people more to sell if they cannot service their mortgage. "Sell after a relatively short period and have a greater chance of incurring a loss." Ms Owen said when it came to the number of people making a profit or loss in the housing market, it often came down to the broader trend in prices. Here is a snapshot of the housing markets in five regional Victorian areas. Bendigo's home values were down 2.1 per cent in 12 months to $551,256, according to CoreLogic. The recent median price of houses was $574,304, and the median value for the units was $382,246. In the September quarter, 98.7 per cent of the properties sold made a profit for their investors, with a median profit of $210,000. The median holding period of the profit-making sales was 8.8 years, more than 105 months. The current median price of houses and units in Ballarat was down 7.4 per cent to $531,191 in 12 months, according to CoreLogic. The current median price of houses is $560,049, and the median price of the units is $355,329. From July to September, more than seven per cent of the properties were sold at a loss in Ballarat. The loss-making investors held the properties for a median of 30 months. The median loss was $40,000, the highest across all the regional cities in Victoria. Data showed 92.2 per cent of sales were profitable in Ballarat, with a median holding period of more than nine years and a median profit of $183,819. The median price of houses and units in Warrnambool declined 1.2 per cent to $566,252 in 12 months, according to CoreLogic. The city's recent median house price was down 0.9 per cent to $602,720. Data showed 98 out of 100 sales during the previous quarter were profit-making. The median holding period was about 10 years, with more than half of the profit-making sales generating $245,000 or more in profit. Wodonga's home values of houses and units were up 1.8 per cent to $567,580 in 12 months, according to CoreLogic. The median price of houses was up 1.6 per cent to $598,196, and the median price of units was up 3.5 per cent to $352,179. The September quarter's data showed 96 per cent of properties sold in Wodonga made a profit. The median holding period was seven years, and the median profit was $207,000. The median price of houses and units in Wangaratta declined 3.7 per cent to $500,185 in 12 months, according to CoreLogic. The city's median price of houses was down 3.8 per cent to $532,468, and the median price of units declined 2.4 per cent to $348,102. From July to September, 96.1 per cent of resales in Wangaratta were higher than their previous sales. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has issued a statement clarifying her previous remarks about the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, according to Politico. In her initial statement earlier in the week, Warren, a progressive lawmaker known for stridently left-populist economic positions, appeared to suggest the shooting was an outgrowth of working-class anger over the cost of health care. “The visceral response from people across the country who feel cheated, ripped off, and threatened by the vile practices of their insurance companies should be a warning to everyone in the healthcare system,” she said. “Violence is never the answer. But people can only be pushed so far.” Speaking to Politico on Wednesday, Warren partially walked back her remarks, reiterating: “Violence is never the answer. Period. Nonetheless, the killing kicked off an outpouring of frustrations as people shared their own experiences with the health care system and tight-fisted insurance companies specifically. Emotions have run so high that people directed their rage at the Pennsylvania McDonald's where police were tipped off about Mangione, flooding the restaurant with fake negative reviews. Experts have sounded alarms at the apparent cheering on of violence, with some drawing comparisons to the political unrest over inequality and labor exploitation during the Gilded Age period of the late 19th century.
