ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia Senate Republicans recommended on Friday that the state write laws banning transgender girls and women from participating in high school and college sports, setting the stage for action in the 2025 legislative session. The vote by a committee that was studying the issue is hardly a surprise. Lt. Gov. Burt Jones — a possible Republican contender for governor in 2026 — announced almost identical goals at the panel's first meeting in August . It’s an issue that’s already been addressed in Georgia. Legislators in 2022 empowered the Georgia High School Association to regulate transgender students' participation in sports. The association, which regulates sports and activities for all public schools and some private schools, then banned transgender boys and girls from playing on the school sports teams matching their gender identity. Jones and others argue that doesn't go far enough and that lawmakers themselves need to act. It's a sign Republicans believe there is more political gain in fears about transgender women playing women’s sports or using women’s bathrooms. At least 26 mostly Republican states have passed laws or rules to restrict transgender girls from participating high school sports and, in some cases, transgender women from college sports , according to the Movement Advancement Project, a gay rights group. In Georgia, additional action appears more likely now after House Speaker Jon Burns and Gov. Brian Kemp, both Republicans, have voiced support for further legislation. Jeff Graham, executive director of the LGBTQ+ advocacy group Georgia Equality, said his group is playing defense, concerned about the possibility of other bills that could further restrict gender-affirming care or ban transgender people from using public bathrooms that match their gender identity. “We’re expecting that it’ll be at least what we saw in 2023 and 2024, with the number of bills and more than likely laws,” Graham told reporters Friday. But Burns, from Newington, has said he's not interested in other bills dealing with transgender people besides those dealing with girls' and women's sports. Republican State Sen. Greg Dolezal, of Cumming, who led the Senate study committee, said Friday that he, too, is not interested in a broader bill regulating bathroom usage, although his committee recommended that schools that host sporting events require athletes to use locker rooms based on their assigned sex at birth. Dolezal said senators would seek to write legislation that regulated public schools and colleges, as well as private institutions that compete against public schools and colleges. The committee also recommends that people be able to sue or file grievances if schools break the rules, and that state money be withheld from schools that break the rules. Supporters of more action have focused on the 2022 NCAA women’s swimming championships at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, where Lia Thomas, a transgender woman, swam for the University of Pennsylvania and won the 500-meter freestyle . The NCAA has since revised its policy on transgender women’s participation, saying it will follow the rules of respective athletics federations. World Aquatics, the swimming governing body, banned transgender women who have been through male puberty from competing in women’s races. That means Thomas wouldn’t be allowed to swim in NCAA events today. “My basic contention that this is a solution in search of a problem remains,” Graham said. He said he fears that many people who oppose laws that seek to restrict transgender people will be afraid to testify and lobby at the Georgia Capitol, citing assault charges against a man accused of shaking U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace in a Capitol office building in Washington, D.C. Dolezal repeatedly tried to turn down the emotional temperature of the issue on Friday. “I think that there’s a group of people that wants to be respected and I think that they deserve respect,” Dolezal told reporters. “But I also think that you can be respectful, but also recognize that in the sporting arena, fairness and competition is important.”
We believe that Bata India can extend its game and 1480 is the target where we are focusing for the stock, says Rajesh Palviya of Axis Securities. Edited excerpts. We saw alternate day of gains and alternate day of losses over the week. Is this a sign of continued consolidation, or do the recent gains indicate the start of a sustained positive trend? It was the very first day for the December series and the rollover was on the slightly higher side, but series on series it is a negative close, so short buildup was there in the data for Nifty. Looking at the kind of recovery, which we have witnessed in the very first day of the series, if we are able to hold out 24,000 level for the next couple of trading sessions, yes, there could be further more buying action we can see in the market. It is also possible that Nifty may attempt to cross or negotiate with the earlier resistance area of 24,350 to 24,400 that is the challenging level as of now for the Nifty. If at all Nifty crosses 24,400, then yes confidence will back on the street and then again fresh buying action we may witness in the market and possible rally can extend to 24,600-24,700 zone also. But from a near-term perspective, it is going to remain in the range only. The range where we are seeing Nifty based on the call put concentration is 23,900 on the downside and 24,400 on the higher side. This could be the possible range for the next couple of weeks, either side breakout will decide the major direction for the market from here onward. Even for the Bank Nifty we have just been able to close above 52,000 level, but still if we look at the data, Bank Nifty is still struggling to cross 52,200, 52,300 zone that is the major supply zone as of now for near-term perspective. If at all Bank Nifty crosses 52,300, then there would be some short covering action we could witness and then rally can extend to 52,600 to 52,800 kind of level. On the downside, the major support for the series for near-term perspective is placed at 51,800. So, till Bank Nifty is holding 51,800, bias is likely to remain on the bullish side and minor dip should be used as a buying opportunity at this juncture as some of the largecap banks are trying to give breakout, stock like ICICI Bank , HDFC Bank , or SBI these stocks are on our focus. So, here also there is a possibility that Bank Nifty may attempt to give breakout on higher side, so buy-on-dips is the strategy for Bank Nifty. It has been almost a 1% move, but Nifty Midcap is up 2.5% and Nifty Smallcap has had a field day if you could call it that over the course of the week of 5% uptick coming in just on a weekly basis. Do you think there is more security and more confidence now of the investors that lie in the broader market or would you continue to believe that largecaps would be your safer bet going ahead? If we analyse the last behaviour of the market, the broader market was showing good buying interest and we have seen the same kind of recovery in Nifty MidCap as well as in the smallcap space. So, as a benchmark index, Nifty is still stuck in the range. But if we analyse the broader market, it is showing a different picture and the way most of the midcap and smallcap stocks have moved up, we believe that if it continues to hold above 24,000 kind of level for Nifty, the Nifty Midcap and Smallcap universe is likely to outperform and maybe we could see a stock specific action. If we analyse Friday's session, chemical stocks, fertiliser stocks, sugar stocks, railway, defence stocks saw recovery. So, stock specific and sector specific momentum is going on but Nifty may remain in consolidation, while the midcap and smallcap space can outperform in the coming weeks. Given the December seasonality trend, where small caps have historically outperformed with an average 3% return, and indications that small and midcaps might continue to perform better than largecaps, how optimistic should we be about broader market performance, considering October and November's seasonality did not play out? Even from a seasonality perspective, Nifty is also on the bullish side for the December month, if we analyse for the last 10 to 20 years. Most of the time, we generally see that the Nifty has delivered a positive return and we have already witnessed a correction of almost 10% for Nifty in the last couple of months. So, the broader market has already corrected and some recovery and relief rally is already playing out in the market as Nifty is comfortably holding above 24,000 level and Bank Nifty is able to hold above its near-term moving averages. So, some buying interest and some confidence is again coming back on the street and yes, Nifty Midcap as well as Smallcap may outperform for December month. The December series also looks to be close on the positive side. We may register some positive gain for the December series. So, we are keeping our bullish view at this moment. Till Nifty is holding above 23,800, 23,900 zone, there is a possibility that Nifty may attempt to give breakout above 24,400 also and we may see a positive close for December also. Help us understand some of your recommendations for the coming week. I am focusing on three stock ideas. Bata India is the first stock. We saw strong recovery in the stock in the last couple of days. The stock comfortably holds above the 20-day, 50-day moving average. Long buildup is there in Friday's derivative data. We believe that Bata India can extend its game. 1480 is the target where we are focusing for the stock, keep your stop loss around 1375. The second stock is Laurus Lab from the pharma space. We saw clear outperformance in this stock. The way the stock is moving in higher top, higher bottom formation, and the way the stock is bullish across all-time frames, here we could see furthermore run up. There was very strong buying action in the last couple of weeks. We believe that Laurus Lab can extend its gain. 600 is the next target where we are focusing, one can buy with a stop loss of 555. The third stock is GNFC. Friday was the sixth consecutive day where the stock was making a higher high low formation, so that clearly shows sustained buying action is taking place in this stock. Most of the fertiliser and chemical stocks have done well in Friday's session. So, GNFC can be looked at to buy, 665 is the near-term target, one can buy with stop loss of 620. Presbyterian 67, Youngstown St. 42Sean Payton knows Garett Bolles’ game well at this point. He just didn’t know his age. That, of course, was no hindrance to Denver signing the left tackle on Thursday. Payton, though, insisted he didn’t realize Bolles was already in his 30s. “The way he’s played, he’s available, he’s in incredible shape. I didn’t realize he’s (32),” Payton said Friday. “(General manager George Paton) and I were talking. I just had never paid attention to that.” Payton, naturally, pays close attention to his offensive line’s production. He’s a believer in a team being built from the inside out. And Denver now has a key piece secured. “He does a great job in taking care of his body and then besides that, the most important thing, is he’s one of the premier pass-blockers in our league,” Payton said. “He stays in front of his man. There’s times where we’ve got to help elsewhere and that’s hard to find. He’s excited about it and we are as well. “It’s much deserved.” The Broncos will be without cornerback Riley Moss for a second straight game because of a right MCL injury he suffered against Las Vegas. The team ruled Moss, a second-year player out of Iowa, out officially on Friday after he hadn’t practiced all week. “We’ve got plenty of depth on the back end and we just have to understand who we’re playing and how we’re playing this game,” Payton said Friday after the team allowed 497 passing yards to Jameis Winston and Cleveland before its bye week. “I think we made a pretty good point of that.” The question will be whether Denver continues with veteran Levi Wallace on the outside opposite Pat Surtain II or goes . One of the interesting sub-plots to Sunday’s critical game is that both teams are coming off their bye week. That means each side can expect more of the unexpected given the extra preparation time. “You’ll see some things, wrinkles, but you’ve got to defend the tape,” Payton said of his approach to planning. “I’ve known (Colts defensive coordinator Gus Bradley) for a long time, so we’ve got this year’s defense, last year’s defense. How much do you want in the cut-ups? If there’s a play we remember running against Seattle when he was there or Jacksonville. “Now, offensively, you’re defending the offense and the offense with (quarterback Anthony Richardson). That’s different than the offense with Joe Flacco. And so he’s a run threat and that becomes more challenging. There’s a different challenge with it. “You’ve got to defend the tape and what you’ve been seeing and then handle the adjustments.” The Broncos have been rotating three running backs in Javonte Williams, Jaleel McLaughlin and rookie Audric Estime. McLaughlin had a season-high 14 carries for 84 yards plus one catch against Cleveland. Each of the three backs has led Denver in carries over the past four games. Williams has been in a rut, totaling minus-1 yards on 12 carries the past two games. “All of them need something to get going in a rhythm,” Payton said. “They’re used to playing. So it’s hard to evaluate Javonte or Audric on four touches. So we’ll keep working through that.”

Source: Lifeist Wellness Inc.A recent advisory from the United States Surgeon General has made it clear — parents and caregivers are burned out. In a 2023 poll of more than 3,100 American parents, nearly 50 per cent reported experiencing debilitating levels of stress most days. Other recent surveys from Canada and the U.S. also found between 20 to 30 per cent of parents are experiencing moderate to severe levels of anxiety that could warrant a clinical diagnosis. When the tasks of the holidays are piled onto this baseline stress, it’s easy to see how the “season of joy” may feel more like the “season of overwhelm.” How can both our society as a whole and parents as individuals dial back the pressure? Structural changes are essential. But scientific insights about child development can also help parents prioritize what matters most and shift how they respond to things that may otherwise trigger anxiety. Much of what is making parents stressed these days is structural in nature: things are more expensive, it’s hard to find affordable child care, parents are more isolated, work is taking up more of parents’ time and children’s engagement with ever-evolving technology brings a range of serious health and safety concerns . These factors disproportionately affect parents who experience poverty, racism, violence or trauma. Addressing them will require substantial political and cultural shifts . But there are smaller factors to tackle as well. Parents today have more access to information than ever before. It’s not just a pediatrician or family member they can turn to for advice, but endless blogs, forums and social media platforms. While online sources can build community and confidence, they can also contribute to information overload as panic headlines and contradictory advice often compound parents’ feelings of anxiety and being overwhelmed. These platforms also tend to showcase idyllic situations that lead parents to create unhelpful comparisons and unrealistic expectations, contributing to feelings of shame and guilt . To counteract these feelings, it’s helpful to remember a few things: children’s development is influenced by many things parents can’t control, there are many benefits to imperfect parenting and independent play and parent wellness matters more than most else. It’s common for people who haven’t experienced discrimination or unexpected challenges to attribute children’s behaviours and outcomes to parents’ choices and efforts. This is an example of “attribution bias,” a bias towards a particular kind of explanation . Developmental science helps dispel this bias by highlighting that children’s development is influenced by many factors other than parenting and beyond parents’ control. First among these is genetics. For example, twin studies have found that genetic factors explain 57-76 per cent of child/adolescent mental illness, 60-84 per cent of picky eating and 60-85 per cent of school achievement. Another is exposure to adverse or positive experiences , such as witnessing violence or being supported by friends and non-parental adults. These types of experiences have substantial effects on children’s physical and mental health. But they are inequitably distributed, based on factors such as income and race . There are big differences in children’s temperaments and how they respond to their environments . The same parenting strategy applied to two different children can lead to two very different outcomes, as you may have observed in siblings. This is why the next time you catch yourself feeling shame or judgment about a child’s behaviour, it’s important to remember parenting choices might not be to blame. Psychologists and pediatricians often recommend certain parenting strategies to support children’s development. But rarely do these providers suggest parents must follow their advice 100 per cent of the time to achieve the desired effects. It’s what happens most of the time that matters. Even when parenting “imperfections” happen, like breaking routines or uncharacteristically snapping at children, they can be seen as opportunities. When “rupture” is followed up by “repair” in the form of acknowledgement, apologies, explanations and/or moments for restoring connection, it can benefit the parent-child attachment relationship and help children build their emotion-regulation skills. By using repair after the overwhelming moments that often happen during the holidays, parents can transform these moments from sources of shame to reasons for pride. Over the past few decades, parents’ worries about children’s physical safety have grown , while children’s unsupervised play time has declined . Many parents are spending more time with their children , hovering or helicoptering over them rather than promoting independent play. No doubt, playing with the support of a responsive adult has many benefits for children’s learning and development . But when it comes to parent involvement in play, sometimes less is more. Research shows that unstructured play — play that isn’t organized by adults and doesn’t have defined goals — is a “ fundamental necessity ” for children’s well-being. Outdoor risky play has enormous benefits for children’s physical and mental health that outweigh many of the perceived safety risks. There are also many unique benefits of playing with peers for both academic and social skill development. With this in mind, if you are a parent who is regularly your child’s main playmate, it may be time to seek more opportunities to take a step back. The holidays can be a great time to start. News and social media feeds are full of panic headlines that can make it seem that certain foods, toys or parenting habits are what make or break children’s life outcomes. It’s easy for parents consuming this media to feel anxious or even want to change their purchases or behaviours in response to every new study. But most headlines overstate the findings of weak studies or small effects. And if following the headlines comes at the cost of parental well-being, it could be doing more harm than good. This is because one of the most consistent and strongest predictors of children’s well-being is having safe, stable and nurturing relationships with caregivers — as both the Canadian and American Pediatric Societies have stated. Children need present and responsive caregivers more than they need any specific foods, presents or new parenting fads. This is why it may be worth considering what you can do to support yourself or other parents’ well-being this year. This could mean providing practical or social support to the parents around you or just making them feel heard and understood . With high parental stress , it’s more important than ever for everyone to replace judgment with empathy and advice with real support. And for parents, let’s try to distinguish what we can and can’t control, practise self-forgiveness in tough times, allow ourselves moments to do less and focus in on what matters most. It might help us experience more moments of joy in this holiday season and through all the seasons of parenthood. A southern Manitoba credit union has reached a new multi-billion dollar financial milestone, and they did it ahead of schedule, according to officials. “This announcement comes ahead of the organization’s expected timeline, and demonstrates its strength and stability,” Steinbach Credit Union (SCU) said in a release last week announcing that SCU recently reached $10 billion in total assets. The Steinbach-based credit union, which has branches in Steinbach and in Winnipeg, has a current membership of 112,000, and employs more than 500 people, according to SCU. “While it took 75 years for SCU to reach the first $5 billion in assets, the credit union only needed an additional eight years to reach $10 billion,” SCU said. SCU board chair Maria Reimer said in a release she attributes SCU’s successes to a number of factors including a continued focus on “organic growth” rather than growth through mergers, as has been the case with Access Credit Union (ACU) which is currently the province’s largest credit union, and has expanded primarily through a series of mergers over several decades. “One of the characteristics that makes SCU unique is our focus on organic growth, having never merged with another credit union,” Reimer said. According to Reimer, SCU’s membership has increased by more than 6,500 new members in 2024 and they are on a path of “continued financial growth.” “Our continued financial growth means we can invest in new technology, products, and services that allow us to support our members in an ever-changing market,” Reimer said. SCU CEO Glenn Friesen said the organization will continue to prioritize its relationship with its members. “By developing an understanding of their needs, we are better able to provide guidance for where they want to go on their financial journey,” he said. Steinbach Credit union currently serves its members through a branch in Steinbach, two in Winnipeg, and a business lending centre and a member contact centre. — Dave Baxter is a Local Journalism Initiative reporter who works out of the Winnipeg Sun.
President-elect Donald Trump asked the Supreme Court on Friday to pause the potential TikTok ban from going into effect until his administration can pursue a “political resolution” to the issue. The request came as TikTok and the Biden administration filed opposing briefs to the court, in which the company argued the court should strike down a law that could ban the platform by Jan. 19 while the government emphasized its position that the statute is needed to eliminate a national security risk. “President Trump takes no position on the underlying merits of this dispute. Instead, he respectfully requests that the Court consider staying the Act’s deadline for divestment of January 19, 2025, while it considers the merits of this case,” said Trump’s amicus brief, which supported neither party in the case and was written by D. John Sauer, Trump’s choice for solicitor general. The argument submitted to the court is the latest example of Trump inserting himself in national issues before he takes office. The Republican president-elect has already begun negotiating with other countries over his plans to impose tariffs, and he intervened earlier this month in a plan to fund the federal government, calling for a bipartisan plan to be rejected and sending Republicans back to the negotiating table. Trump has also reversed his position on the popular app, having tried to ban it during his first term in office over national security concerns. He joined the app during his 2024 presidential campaign and his team used it to connect with younger voters, especially male voters, by pushing content that was often macho and aimed at going viral. He said earlier this year that he still believed there were national security risks with TikTok, but that he opposed banning it. This month, Trump met with TikTok CEO Shou Chew at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida. The filings Friday come ahead of oral arguments scheduled for Jan. 10 on whether the law, which requires TikTok to divest from its China-based parent company or face a ban, unlawfully restricts speech in violation of the First Amendment. Earlier this month, a panel of three federal judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit unanimously upheld the statute , leading TikTok to appeal the case to the Supreme Court. The brief from Trump said he opposes banning TikTok at this junction and “seeks the ability to resolve the issues at hand through political means once he takes office.” In their brief to the Supreme Court on Friday, attorneys for TikTok and its parent company ByteDance argued the federal appeals court erred in its ruling and based its decision on “alleged ‘risks’ that China could exercise control” over TikTok’s U.S. platform by pressuring its foreign affiliates. The Biden administration has argued in court that TikTok poses a national security risk due to its connections to China. Officials say Chinese authorities can compel ByteDance to hand over information on TikTok’s U.S. patrons or use the platform to spread or suppress information. But the government “concedes that it has no evidence China has ever attempted to do so,” TikTok’s legal filing said, adding that the U.S. fears are predicated on future risks. In its filing Friday, the Biden administration said because TikTok “is integrated with ByteDance and relies on its propriety engine developed and maintained in China,” its corporate structure carries with it risk. Haleluya Hadero And Michelle Price, The Associated PressOTTAWA — Two senior members of the federal cabinet were in Florida Friday pushing Canada's new $1.3 billion border plan with members of Donald Trump's transition team, a day after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau himself appeared to finally push back at the president-elect over his social media posts about turning Canada into the 51st state. Finance Minister Dominic LeBlanc and Foreign Affair Minister Melanie Joly shared few details of their meetings in Palm Beach, simply saying in a statement the U.S. officials they met with took notes and agreed to relay messages to Trump. "Minister LeBlanc and Minister Joly had a positive, productive meeting at Mar-a-Lago with Howard Lutnick and Doug Burgum, as a followup to the dinner between the prime minister and President Trump last month," wrote Jean-Sébastien Comeau, a spokesman for LeBlanc. Lutnick is Trump's nominee for commerce secretary, and Burgum is the former governor of North Dakota and current nominee for secretary of the interior. When announcing Lutnick as his commerce pick Trump said the chief executive of the financial firm Cantor Fitzgerald would be in charge of the Trump "tariff and trade agenda." "Both Ministers outlined the measures in Canada’s Border Plan and reiterated the shared commitment to strengthen border security as well as combat the harm caused by fentanyl to save Canadian and American lives." He added the ministers agreed to continue the discussions in the coming weeks. Joly is also expected to meet in Florida with senator Lindsay Graham Friday evening. This trip comes less than four weeks before Trump is sworn in again as president. He has threatened to impose a new 25 per cent import tariff on Canada and Mexico the same day over concerns about a trade imbalance, as well as illegal drugs and migration issues at the borders. The broad strokes of Canada's new border plan were made public Dec. 17, including a new aerial intelligence task force to provide round-the-clock surveillance of the border, and improved efforts using technology and canine teams to seek out drugs in shipments leaving Canada. Comeau said earlier Friday morning the ministers would also emphasize the negative impacts of Trump's threatened tariffs on both Canada and the U.S. Comeau said the ministers were to build on the discussions that took place last month when Trudeau and LeBlanc met Trump at Mar-a-Lago just days after Trump first made his tariff threat. It was at that dinner on Nov. 29 when Trump first raised the notion of Canada becoming the 51st state, a comment LeBlanc has repeatedly since insisted was just a joke. But Trump has continued the quip repeatedly in various social media posts, including in his Christmas Day message when he said Canadians would pay lower taxes and have better military protection if they became Americans. He has taken to calling Trudeau "governor" instead of prime minister. It isn't clear if LeBlanc raised the issue with Trump's team in Palm Beach Friday. Trudeau had not directly responded to any of the jabs, but on Thursday posted a link to a six-minute long video on YouTube from 2010 in which American journalist Tom Brokaw "explains Canada to Americans." "Some information about Canada for Americans" was all he wrote in the post. The video, which originally aired during the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, explains similarities between the two countries, including their founding based on immigration, their trading relationship and the actions of the Canadian Army in World War 2 and other modern conflicts. "In the long history of sovereign neighbours there has never been a relationship as close, productive and peaceful as the U.S. and Canada," Brokaw says in the video. Former Bank of Canada governor Mark Carney, who is at the centre of some of Trudeau's recent domestic political troubles, also called out Trump's antics on X Thursday, calling it "casual disrespect" and "carrying the 'joke' too far." "Time to call it out, stand up for Canada, and build a true North American partnership," said Carney, who Trudeau was courting to join his cabinet before Chrystia Freeland resigned as finance minister last week. Freeland's sudden departure, three days after Trudeau informed her he would be firing her as finance minister in favour of Carney, left Trudeau's leadership even more bruised than it already was. Despite the expectation Carney would assume the role, he did not and has not made any statements about it. LeBlanc was sworn in as finance minister instead the same day Freeland quit. More than two dozen Liberal MPs have publicly called on Trudeau to resign as leader, and Trudeau is said to be taking the holidays to think about his next steps. He is currently vacationing in British Columbia. He did not make a public statement about the meeting as of publication. This report by The Canadian Press was first published Dec. 27, 2024. Alessia Passafiume, The Canadian PressDANIELLE Armstrong has been hit with criticism online after she shared a weight loss transformation, and encouraged followers to follow suit. Former TOWIE star Danielle Armstrong has shown off the results of her weight loss across 15 months, which has seen her lose 3.5 stone. The mum of two has shown off a slimmer and toned figure, as she encouraged others to follow her weight loss plan in 2025. Writing on Instagram, she told fans in a clip of her before and after: "In a world that it seems injecting is the only solution for weightloss these days. "This is your sign to tell you there is another way." Alongside the video, she captioned the post: "If your someone wants to make 2025 the year you prioritise your health and get results without taking any risks or quick fixes to do so, but your not a big gym lover or haven’t got time to meal prep and live on chicken and broccoli then this is your sign to message me NOW. "I’ll be going LIVE on an exclusive guest list only call on 30th December 8pm to go into detail exactly what a day on plan consists of and how I’ve dropped 3.5 stone." However fans have hit back at Danielle, with some branding her "crass" for slamming weight loss injections - which can be turned to for those struggling with obesity and are now offered via an NHS prescription. One person commented on the video: "Whilst you look great, this is disappointing promoting diet culture 2 days after Christmas." Another added: "I think it is more the cost for people and you are promoting another expensive product to take along side the cost of the gym and personal training." "Honestly drinking shakes ain’t also a healthy way of losing weight. Balance diet, calorie deficit and move your body even it means just walking. It does wonders. Also please don’t feel guilty for over indulging holiday season life is for living. Enjoy, laugh and live," stressed a third. Another pointed out: "Sometimes “injecting” is the only way it can be done. People try and try the natural way but sometimes it doesn’t work for them. Bit of a crass statement to be honest!" The healthy weight loss journey Danielle refers to sees her as a Herbalife Nutrition ambassador, alongside her fellow former TOWIE pal Ferne McCann. Ferne also posted to social media to share a healthy body message, as she told fans: "Let’s lose weight together! "Ok so over the last month or so, I’ve been less consistent with my healthy habits, eating whatever I wanted. Properly indulging over thee festive period and it’s crept up on me...quick. "I’ve been training for dancing on ice everyday but let me tell you, exercising everyday isn’t the answer! I’m feeling fluffy! Is anyone else? "If you want to lose weight, beat the Christmas bloat and work on feeling your best then join me on my 10 day results plan challenge."
