During his visit on November 19, President Marcos directed various government agencies for the immediate provision of relief goods, shelter assistance, and restoration of communication and power systems disabled after Super Typhoon Pepito . DICT Secretary Ivan Uy immediately heeded the President’s call by requesting CICC Executive Director Alexander K. Ramos to deploy self powered , all weather, all terrain communication system to provide internet connection to affected residents.
