Jamahal Hill will face a fresh challenge in his upcoming return at UFC 311 in Los Angeles. Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill has his next Octagon assignment almost a full year after a knockout loss to Alex Pereira . Hill was originally supposed to co-headline UFC 303 against Khalil Rountree Jr., before withdrawing due to an injury. His recovery lasted the rest of 2024, capping off a frustrating year for the former titleholder. But, Hill has a chance to bounce back and get back in the title mix, as announced on the UFC Macau broadcast on Saturday. Hill will face Jiří Procházka at UFC 311 on January 18th at the Intuit Dome, the new home of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers. Immediately after the fight announcement, Procházka broke his social media silence ahead of UFC 311. “Its a Fight, Its a joy to be alive and create the Best ourselves,” Procházka posted on Instagram. “Lets get it !!!” As of this writing, Hill hasn’t posted anything on social media hinting at the UFC 311 booking. READ MORE: Merab Dvalishvili names date for Petr Yan world title rematch after his win over Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC Macau Jamahal Hill vs. Jiri Procházka booked for UFC 311 showdown Hill and Procházka are two of Pereira’s most recent title challengers with Hill falling to the champion at UFC 300 in April by TKO. Procházka has lost twice to Pereira over the last year, including in a short-notice rematch booking at UFC 303 following Conor McGregor’s withdrawal from the card. While this will be the first fight between Hill and Procházka in their careers, their trajectories have been linked in recent years. After Hill won Procházka’s vacated belt at UFC 283 over Glover Teixeira, he suffered an injury months later, leading to Procházka facing Pereira for the again-vacated title at UFC 295. Before the loss to Pereira at UFC 300, Hill was on a roll in the UFC light heavyweight division, earning recent TKO wins over Thiago Santos, Johnny Walker, and Jimmy Crute. He’s looking to avoid the first losing streak of his career and bounce back similar to his UFC 263 loss to Paul Craig. Meanwhile, Procházka returns to the Octagon for the first time since UFC 303, a short-notice knockout loss to Pereira. Procházka regained some momentum in a come-from-behind win against Aleksandar Rakić at UFC 300. Procházka captured the light heavyweight throne by defeating Teixeira by fifth-round submission at UFC 275. Before that, he earned brutal knockout wins over former title challengers Dominick Reyes and Volkan Oezdemir. READ MORE: ‘I’m over the halfway point’... Israel Adesanya sets retirement deadline as he pursues third reign as UFC champion Jamahal Hill and Jiri Procházka will compete for potential No. 1 contender spot Pereira is expected to face surging contender Magomed Ankalaev in his next light heavyweight title shot. He most recently defended the belt against Rountree at UFC 307 , and weeks later, Ankalaev cemented himself as the consensus next title challenger by defeating Rakić at UFC 308. Hill and Procházka have the opportunity to cement themselves as the next man up to potentially face the Pereira vs. Ankalaev winner. In recent months, Hill has taunted the light heavyweight champion , setting up what would be an intriguing rematch. As of this writing, the UFC 311 main event hasn’t been announced by the promotion, although Islam Makhachev vs. Arman Tsarukyan 2 is the rumored favorite to headline. Strictly Come Dancing fans were left furious during the semi-final when they believed that Shirley Ballas was unfairly dishing out compliments and over-marking Pete Wicks . The ex-TOWIE star has made it through to the penultimate week without ever being in the dance-off - despite those considered superior dancers to him being eliminated along the way. In fact, just minutes into the show, fans were already venting their dismay on social media believing he didn't deserve to be there alongside fellow semi-finalists Chris McCausland, Tasha Ghouri , JB Gill and Sarah Hadland. And their frustrations escalated following Pete's first performance when head judge Shirley lavished him with praise even dubbing him 'Mr Strictly'. Shirley told Pete that she judged him on how he'd progressed during the competition rather than against anyone else. She said: "You are Mr Strictly Come Dancing . You are what this show is about. Everybody at home, all the parents, will be sitting there and thinking, 'if Pete can do it, I can do it' and you will inspire people to go to the dance studio. "You had no experience whatsoever coming in. I thought you did a very good job on your footwork and your neckline.... week one you were like this and today you were shining. You didn't make any mistakes, you did a grand job. You should walk with your head high - you are absolutely Mr Strictly Come Dancing." She went on to award him the highest mark of all the judges - nine out of 10 - giving him a total of 32 out of 40. But fans took exception to Shirley's lavish praise and rushed to social media platform X to call out her 'bias'. One said: "SHIRLEY CALLING PETE MR STRICTLY COME DANCING LIKE MONTELL DIDNT ALSO START FROM NOTHING BUT NEVER GOT THAT PRAISE. The bias is RIDICULOUS." A second said: "Sh*rley can retire after calling pete mr strictly come dancing after criticising tasha for coming out of lifts, it’s completely unfair to treat contestants so differently. Pete is not the first or last person to start at nothing NOT EVEN IN THIS SERIES." Another commented: "shirley calling pete “mr strictly come dancing” when he shouldn’t even be in the semi finals in the first place..." And: "Shirley acting like Pete is God’s gift to dancing and giving him a bloody 9." A fifth said: "Shirley giving that a 9?? I’ve defended her all series but scoring that the same as JB and Sarah? Please..." The semi-final followed last weekend's surprise dance-off which saw Olympian Montell Douglas and Tasha Ghouri in the bottom two with Montell eliminated after the judges' votes. Revellers hit Rio's Copacabana beach for pride paradeFacebook Twitter WhatsApp SMS Email Print Copy article link Save The federal agency in charge of Green Peter Reservoir and Dam has agreed to halt the drawdown intended to give salmon species safe passage after three local cities complained that the murky water it creates is putting a strain on their drinking water filtration systems. In a letter sent to the city managers of Sweet Home, Lebanon and Albany just before 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, Col. L. Dale Caswell Jr. of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers acknowledged that the cities have been in contact with Oregon health officials. The Army Corps also has been in touch with the Oregon Health Authority to assess the cities' complaints, and in response, Caswell wrote, has decided to halt the drawdown. People are also reading... A formal letter, dictating our decision, will be sent out next week," Caswell told the city managers. No other details about reversing the drawdown were shared. In Lebanon's recent entreaty to OHA to intervene in the drawdown, Lebanon City Manager Ron Whitlatch wrote that the operation "risks Lebanon's ability to provide safe drinking water and continues to damage our water treatment plant." Earlier Friday, Albany City Manager Peter Troedsson also sought help from the Oregon Health Authority, which ensures the quality and safety of the state's drinking water. "The city of Albany joins the cities of Lebanon and Sweet Home in requesting an immediate halt to the United States Army Corps of Engineers drawdown operations at Green Peter Reservoir. Our communities' drinking water treatment facilities are being impacted by continuous high turbidity (another word for murkiness) in the South Santiam River," Troedsson wrote. The South Santiam is typically a source of very clean water, he said. "These clean conditions mean that none of our water treatment plants were built to handle such turbid water conditions, especially for an extended period of time. The turbidity resulting from the Green Peter Reservoir drawdown puts considerable strain on our treatment plant capacity to meet demand, is causing additional operational costs, and has resulted in the loss of warranty on equipment due to exceeding design turbidity limits," Troedsson wrote. A federal judge ordered the agency to drawdown reservoirs in the Willamette Valley in response to a lawsuit filed by environmentalists who successfully argued the Army Corps has not done enough to ensure the habitat of the endangered chinook salmon and related species. Last year's drawdown at Green Peter was the first, and created green-tinged water that drew many resident complaints — and frustrated the operators at local municipal water treatment plants. In turn, local electeds put pressure on the state and federal government to reimburse them their costs of having to adjust to the suddenly murky water, created when dirt and bits of animal and plant matter become concentrated by the drawdown. Bob Casey of Pennsylvania conceded his reelection bid to Republican David McCormick on Thursday, as a statewide recount showed no signs of closing the gap and his campaign suffered repeated blows in court in its effort to get potentially favorable ballots counted. Casey’s concession comes more than two weeks after Election Day, as a grindingly slow ballot-counting process became a spectacle of hours-long election board meetings, social media outrage, lawsuits and accusations that some county officials were openly flouting the law. Republicans had been claiming that Democrats were trying to steal McCormick’s seat by counting “illegal votes.” Casey’s campaign had accused of Republicans of trying to block enough votes to prevent him from pulling ahead and winning. In a statement, Casey said he had just called McCormick to congratulate him. “As the first count of ballots is completed, Pennsylvanians can move forward with the knowledge that their voices were heard, whether their vote was the first to be counted or the last,” Casey said. The Associated Press called the race for McCormick on Nov. 7, concluding that not enough ballots remained to be counted in areas Casey was winning for him to take the lead. As of Thursday, McCormick led by about 16,000 votes out of almost 7 million ballots counted. That was well within the 0.5% margin threshold to trigger an automatic statewide recount under Pennsylvania law. But no election official expected a recount to change more than a couple hundred votes or so, and Pennsylvania’s highest court dealt him a blow when it refused entreaties to allow counties to count mail-in ballots that lacked a correct handwritten date on the return envelope. Republicans will have a 53-47 majority next year in the U.S. Senate. Follow Marc Levy at twitter.com/timelywriterSurge in people with no right to live in UK returned home

Silo Pharma CEO Eric Weisblum buys $4,625 in company stockEthereum is the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization and has been one of the most influential players in the blockchain space since its launch in 2015. With its feature of smart contract functionality and a dApp ecosystem, Ethereum revolutionized blockchain technology beyond a mere digital currency. However, rapid changes in blockchain have brought new competitors in line to challenge Ethereum's dominance. Is Ethereum at risk of losing its supremacy? Ethereum has realized substantial growth because it was a pioneer to allow dApps and smart contracts. This platform runs most of the decentralized finance (DeFi) and non-fungible token (NFT) sectors, making it essential in the blockchain ecosystem. It is processing billions in transactions and hosts thousands of decentralized projects as of now. Despite having continued success, Ethereum now suffers with increased competition from newer blockchains that can do faster transactions and lower fees. Even though Ethereum remains the popular platform for developers and projects, its lead is likely to be threatened by the scalability issues afflicting it and its rising competitors who promise solutions to these ills. Scalability has been the biggest challenge Ethereum faces. As the network grows in size, it takes a toll on the infrastructure. High transaction fees and slower processing times have greatly hurt it, especially during the high demand periods of DeFi booms or NFT launches. It has led the users and developers to seek alternative solutions in some cases. Ethereum's response to such is Ethereum 2.0, the long-in-waiting upgrade set to enhance scalability, security, and sustainability. A shift from a proof-of-work (PoW) consensus mechanism to proof-of-stake (PoS) is at the core of the Ethereum 2.0 upgrade. This should minimize significantly the use of energy while scaling up the throughput of transactions through the introduction of shard chains that enable the network to process numerous transactions simultaneously. However, full implementation of Ethereum 2.0 will take time, and delays could provide competitors with opportunities to capture market share. How well Ethereum manages this transition will play a critical role in maintaining its leadership. Ethereum has powered the development of two most radical blockchain revolutions: decentralized finance (DeFi) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Both are heavily reliant on the smart contract facility, developed by Ethereum; this enables the issuance, trading, and management of digital assets without any intermediary. Ethereum-based DeFi networks have unlocked new financial opportunities to hundreds of millions of people around the world and created opportunities for lending, borrowing, and trading in a decentralized manner. NFTs gained mainstream popularity in 2021 and are largely based on Ethereum's ERC-721 standard, reshaping the digital art and collectibles market. Despite this dominance, DeFi platforms and NFT projects begin to diversify into other blockchains, particularly those that have lower fees and whose transactions are processed faster. To continue holding the leading position of these sectors, Ethereum must address its performance limitations while continuing to foster innovation within its ecosystem. A number of platforms have emerged that possess strengths over Ethereum, with all promising better scalability, low fees, and faster transaction times. Solana , Binance Smart Chain, Polkadot, and Avalanche have found some popularity in recent time, heavily because of their increased throughput and growing developer ecosystems. At the same time, Solana offers significantly more speed and much lower fees compared to a platform like Ethereum, thereby attracting projects that find the latter too expensive. The Binance Smart Chain has also grown to be another significant DeFi hub with users looking for a cheaper solution. Polkadot and Avalanche are major plays with interoperability and innovative consensus mechanisms, really putting some muscle behind their claims to disruption. These competitors are working on key issues of Ethereum, particularly scalability and cost efficiency, that can seriously be a threat to Ethereum's dominance if these are not addressed immediately. Delivering or not delivering on its promises is critical as to whether Ethereum can regain its top spot over competitors. Its scalability problems are promised to be resolved with the adoption of Ethereum 2.0. The success of this upgrade will depend on timely implementation and smooth integration. If Ethereum can finally live up to its promises, it may continue to lead because of its existing ecosystem, strong developer base, and brand recognition. However, the improved competence of other blockchains cannot be disregarded. If other competing platforms continue to provide better efficiencies at lower costs, they will attract more users and developers, thereby reducing the market share of Ethereum. Ethereum is still a great power in the blockchain world, but there is no longer a sense of unchallenged leadership. Competitors are climbing on board and bringing solutions to problems that Ethereum itself has been unable to solve. Whether Ethereum can retain its lead will depend more than anything on whether it can achieve Ethereum 2.0 and continue this lead in innovation for the DeFi and NFT space. As blockchain technology grows and advances, Ethereum needs to be nimble to retain its top spot.

Women will for the first time make up a majority of state legislators in Colorado and New Mexico next year, but at least 13 states saw losses in female representation after the November election, according to a count released Thursday by the Rutgers Center for American Women and Politics. While women will fill a record number of state legislative seats in 2025, the overall uptick will be slight, filling just over third of legislative seats. Races in some states are still being called. "We certainly would like to see a faster rate of change and more significant increases in each election cycle to get us to a place where parity in state legislatures is less novel and more normal," said Kelly Dittmar, director of research at the CAWP, which is a unit of the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University. As of Wednesday, at least 2,450 women will serve in state legislatures, representing 33.2% of the seats nationwide. The previous record was set in 2024 with 2,431 women, according to the CAWP. The number of Republican women, at least 851, will break the previous record of 815 state lawmakers set in 2024. "But still, Republican women are very underrepresented compared to Democratic women," Debbie Walsh, director of the CAWP, said. From left, House Maj. Whip Reena Szczepanski, D-Santa Fe, Rep. D. Wonda Johnson, D-Church Rock and Rep. Cristina Parajon, D-Albuquerque, talk July 18 before the start of a special session, in Santa Fe, N.M. By the most recent count, 19 states will have increased the number of women in their state legislatures, according to the CAWP. The most notable increases were in New Mexico and Colorado, where women will for the first time make up a majority of lawmakers. In New Mexico, voters sent an 11 additional women to the chambers. Colorado previously attained gender parity in 2023 and is set to tip over to a slight female majority in the upcoming year. The states follow Nevada, which was the first in the country to see a female majority in the legislature following elections in 2018. Next year, women will make up almost 62% of state lawmakers in Nevada, far exceeding parity. Women in California's Senate will make up the chamber's majority for the first time in 2025 as well. Women also made notable gains in South Dakota, increasing its number by at least nine. Four of South Carolina's Sister Senators, from left, Sen. Margie Bright Matthews, D-Walterboro, Sen. Mia McLeod, I-Columbia, Sen. Katrina Shealy, R-Lexington, and Sen. Penry Gustafson, R-Camden, stand in front of the Senate on June 26 with their John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage award in Columbia, S.C. At least thirteen states emerged from the election with fewer female lawmakers than before, with the most significant loss occurring in South Carolina. This year, the only three Republican women in the South Carolina Senate lost their primaries after they stopped a total abortion ban from passing. Next year, only two women, who are Democrats, will be in the 46-member Senate. No other state in the country will have fewer women in its upper chamber, according to the CAWP. Women make up 55% of the state's registered voters. Half the members in the GOP dominated state were elected in 2012 or before, so it will likely be the 2040s before any Republican woman elected in the future can rise to leadership or a committee chairmanship in the chamber, which doles out leadership positions based on seniority. A net loss of five women in the legislature means they will make up only about 13% of South Carolina's lawmakers, making the state the second lowest in the country for female representation. Only West Virginia has a smaller proportion of women in the legislature. West Virginia stands to lose one more women from its legislative ranks, furthering its representation problem in the legislature where women will make up just 11% of lawmakers. Many women, lawmakers and experts say that women's voices are needed in discussions on policy, especially at a time when state government is at its most powerful in decades. Walsh, director of the CAWP, said the new changes expected from the Trump administration will turn even more policy and regulation to the states. The experiences and perspectives women offer will be increasingly needed, she said, especially on topics related to reproductive rights, healthcare, education and childcare. "The states may have to pick up where the federal government may, in fact, be walking away," Walsh said. "And so who serves in those institutions is more important now than ever." Romania's pro-European Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu was leading in the first round of presidential elections Sunday according to exit polls, with the far right not yet assured of a place in the second round, despite a breakthrough in support. With 25 percent of the vote according to two exit polls, Ciolacu appeared to be well ahead of far-right challengers looking to capitalise on this EU member's concerns about inflation and the war in neighbouring Ukraine. The same exit polls gave second place to centre-right former journalist turned small-town mayor Elena Lasconi at 18 percent, with two far-right candidates scoring 15 and 16 percent. In the absence of an outright winner in the first round -- scoring more than 50 percent -- the top two candidates go through to a second-round run-off in the poor NATO member on December 8. Ciolacu, a Social Democrat, is leading a field of 13 contenders in the race to take over from President Klaus Iohannis in the largely ceremonial post. He welcomed the exit polls putting him in the lead, but said all the votes would have to be counted before he knew who he would face in the second round. Lasconi too, was cautious. "The scores are very tight, it's not yet time to celebrate," said the 52-year-old politician. Far-right leader George Simion, 38, who some had forecast might take second place, is for the moment in fourth. Exit polls put him just behind the 62-year-old pro-Russian candidate Calin Georgescu. But Simion said Sunday evening: "We'll see the results of the ballot boxes at 11:00 pm (2100 GMT)." Ciolacu's party has shaped Romania's politics for more than three decades, and as he voted Sunday he promised stability and a "decent" standard of living. But political analyst Cristian Parvulescu told AFP: "The far right is by far the big winner of this election." Simion saw his popularity surge by tapping into voter anger over record inflation while promising more affordable housing. Looking for a new election breakthrough for European far-right parties, Simion warned of possible "fraud" and "foreign interference" when voting. But he added: "I am happy that we are giving Romanians hope and the prospect of a better future." The stakes are high for Romania, which has a 650-kilometre (400-mile) border with Ukraine and has become more important since Russia invaded its neighbour in 2022. The Black Sea nation now plays a "vital strategic role" for NATO -- as it is a base for more than 5,000 soldiers -- and the transit of Ukrainian grain, the New Strategy Center think tank said. Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election has further "complicated" Romania's choice, political analyst Cristian Pirvulescu told AFP. Known for his fiery speeches, Simion is a Trump fan who sometimes dons a red cap in appreciation of his idol. Simion opposes sending military aid to Ukraine, wants a "more patriotic Romania" and frequently lashes out against what he calls the "greedy corrupt bubble" running the European Union. Having campaigned hard to win over Romania's large diaspora working abroad, he said the country had only "minions and cowards as leaders". Pirvulescu predicted that if Simion reached the second round his AUR party would get a boost in the December parliamentary election. "Romanian democracy is in danger for the first time since the fall of communism in 1989," he said. "I'm really afraid we'll end up with Simion in the second round," 36-year-old IT worker Oana Diaconu told AFP, expressing concern about the far-right leader's unpredictable nature and attacks on the European Union. The campaign was marked by controversy and personal attacks, with Simion facing accusations of meeting with Russian spies -- a claim he has denied. Ciolacu has been criticised for his use of private jets. Some observers had tipped Lasconi, now mayor of the small town of Campulung and head of a centre-right opposition party, as a surprise package. Sunday's exit polls appeared to suggest they were right. During campaigning, she had said she wanted a future "where no one has to pack their suitcases and leave" the country and for "institutions that work". bur/js-jj/DALLAS , Nov. 21, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Ashford Hospitality Trust, Inc. Chevron Plans to Cut Billions in Spending to Boost its Already Robust Free Cash Flow and Cash Returns in 2025NEW YORK, Dec. 07, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Y-mAbs Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company” or “Y-mAbs”) (Nasdaq: YMAB), a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of novel radioimmunotherapy and antibody-based therapeutic products for the treatment of cancer, today announced the presentation of CD38-SADA in Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) preclinical data and trial in progress posters at the 66 th American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting & Exposition being held on December 7 –10, 2024, in San Diego, California. A poster titled “ CD38-SADA, a S elf- A ssembling and D is- A ssembling Bispecific Fusion Protein for Two-Step Pretargeted Radioimmunotherapy of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma ” characterizes the selective binding of CD38-SADA to DOTA-chelated lanthanide metals and high-avidity binding to CD38, a tumor specific antigen overexpressed across a range of lymphoma cells. Data from this poster demonstrate anti-tumor efficacy of CD38-SADA when used with Lutetium 177 (Lu 177 )-DOTA in a two-step approach to pre-targeted radioimmunotherapy (“PRIT”). Tumor responses in a xenograft mouse model were rapid and dose-dependent, further supporting the clinical development of CD38-SADA PRIT in patients with CD38-positive lymphoid malignancies. “This preclinical analysis provides important insights into the unique pharmacology of CD38-SADA and its therapeutic potential for NHL,” said Brian H. Santich, Ph.D., the lead author and co-inventor of the SADA PRIT technology platform. “The anti-tumor efficacy positively correlated with increasing doses of Lu 177 -DOTA and CD38-SADA, which informed the study design and initial dosing regimen of our Trial 1201 in patients with NHL.” In addition, Y-mAbs presents a trial-in-progress poster from its ongoing Phase 1 (Trial 1201) clinical study evaluating the safety and tolerability of CD38-SADA PRIT with Lu 177 -DOTA in adults with relapsed or refractory NHL. Trial 1201 is a first-in-human, dose-escalation, open-label, multicenter study composed of two parts. Part A includes dose escalation of the CD38-SADA bispecific fusion protein to define the optimal safe dose of the CD38-SADA protein, the administration interval between CD38-SADA and Lu 177 -DOTA, and the Lu 177 -DOTA dose for tumor imaging. In Part B, dose escalation of Lu 177 -DOTA will establish the optimal therapeutic dose of the radioactive payload. For each part, the escalation is based on a 3+3 trial design of 4 planned dose levels. “We are pleased to share the details of this Phase 1 clinical trial, which is investigating a potentially transformative approach to pre-targeted radioimmunotherapy for patients with relapsed and refractory NHL,” said Vignesh Rajah, MBBS, DCH, MRCP (UK), Chief Medical Officer. “This is our second clinical program evaluating the SADA PRIT technology platform and our first in hematological malignancies.” The abstract details are below: Abstract Title: “ CD38-SADA, a Self-Assembling and Dis-Assembling Bispecific Fusion Protein for Two-Step Pretargeted Radioimmunotherapy of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma” Format : Poster Presentation, ID: 1599 Date and Time: Saturday, December 7, 2024, 5:30 PM-7:30 PM Abstract Title: “ CD38-SADA Pretargeted Radioimmunotherapy (PRIT) with Lutetium 177 (Lu177)-DOTA in Adult Patients with Relapsed or Refractory Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma: A First-in-Human Phase 1 Trial” Format : Poster Presentation, ID: 4434.1 Date and Time: Monday, December 9, 2024, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Researchers at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), including Dr. Nai-Kong Cheung, developed the SADA technology for radioimmunotherapy, which is exclusively licensed by MSK to Y-mAbs. Dr. Cheung has intellectual property rights and interests in the technology, and as a result of this licensing arrangement, MSK has institutional financial interests in the technology. About Y-mAbs Y-mAbs is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of novel, radioimmunotherapy and antibody-based therapeutic cancer products. The Company’s technologies include its investigational Self-Assembly DisAssembly (“SADA”) Pretargeted Radioimmunotherapy Platform (“PRIT”) and bispecific antibodies generated using the Y-BiClone platform. The Company’s broad and advanced product pipeline includes the anti-GD2 therapy DANYELZA® (naxitamab-gqgk), the first FDA-approved treatment for patients with relapsed or refractory high-risk neuroblastoma in the bone or bone marrow after a partial response, minor response, or stable disease to prior therapy. About CD38-SADA PRIT CD38-SADA is a bispecific fusion protein that tightly binds to the CD38 antigen and to select radionuclides chelated to tetraxetan (or “DOTA”). CD38-SADA contains a p53-derived domain that drives the self-assembly of CD38-SADA tetramers, which possess four distinct binding sites for CD38. In the first step of pre-targeted radiotherapy, non-radiolabeled-CD38-SADA tetramers are infused and bind with high avidity to CD38-positive tumors, while unbound CD38-SADA disassembles into low molecular weight monomers that are removed by the kidney. The second infusion delivers the “radioactive payload,” which binds to the CD38-SADA on tumor cells for localized irradiation. CD38-SADA PRIT with Lutetium 177 (Lu 177)-DOTA is now under clinical investigation in Trial 1201 (NCT05994157).
