And it all came after a memorable afternoon at Murrayfield where Tuipulotu – and his 77-year-old grandmother – were in the middle of absolutely everything, much to the delight of an adoring Scottish crowd. But first to re-cap. Born and raised in Melbourne, Tuipulotu played for the Junior Wallabies but couldn’t crack a regular spot for the Rebels in Super Rugby, and so he moved to Scotland to play. Gauges of production, sales, orders and inventories, and employment were less negative than in October, possibly a result of the boost to the stock market and business confidence that followed Donald Trump’s victory in November’s presidential elections. The index’s three-month moving average, meanwhile, fell back a little, to minus 0.31 from minus 0.27 a month earlier, suggesting there is still some way to go before activity gains momentum.
