Ram Trucks Australia has confirmed it’ll bring the new twin-turbo, six-cylinder 1500 pickup to Australia in 2025 – more than 18 months after it was unveiled in North America. In November 2023 , Ram unveiled the facelifted DT-generation 1500 , resulting in its long-standing 5.7-litre Hemi V8 engine being axed and replaced by a newer 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline petrol six. While US deliveries have already started, the brand’s official Australian distributor has until now been tight-lipped about when – or even if – we would get the ‘Hurricane’-powered pickup in local showrooms. 100s of new car deals are available through CarExpert right now. Get the experts on your side and score a great deal. Browse now . That’s now changed, with Ram Trucks Australia general manager, Jeff Barber, confirming it’ll be released here at an undisclosed time in 2025. “We have been overwhelmed by the response to the Hemi V8 runout , and we understand some buyers who want one of the last V8s may miss out,” Mr Barber said in a media statement. “However, we hope to have enough stock to fulfil most orders. “We will have a very worthy successor next year powered by a new-generation turbocharged six-cylinder petrol engine, but we will have more to say about that closer to local showroom arrivals.” As reported in October , Ram has received approval from the Australian government to sell five variants of the 1500 across two body lengths and with two engine outputs. The standard-output 3.0-litre twin-turbo engine (named SST SO) produces 313kW and 636Nm, while a high-output version (called SST HO) develops 403kW and 706Nm. For context, the Hemi V8 produces 291kW and 556Nm. Regardless of output, the Hurricane engine will be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Approved variants include the Big Horn short-wheelbase (SWB) and long-wheelbase (LWB), the Laramie (with or without Rambox) and the flagship Limited, which is the only grade available with the more potent engine. The six-cylinder Ram 1500 is classified as an NB1 vehicle – rather than the V8’s NA classification – which means its gross vehicle mass is between 3.5 and 4.5 tonnes, and it will be exempt from certain safety regulations such as ADR 85/00 (Pole Side Impact Performance). Not included in the approval documents are the fancy new Tungsten flagship, or the sportier Rebel or RHO variants. Also missing is the new Ramcharger , which features a range-extender powertrain with a large battery and a 3.6-litre petrol V6 used as a generator. It’s unclear if any of these variants will follow at a later point. Beyond the new engine, changes to the updated Ram 1500 include freshened exterior styling, as well as an improved 12-inch infotainment touchscreen or a new 14.5-inch unit, plus a 10.25-inch passenger display. The Ram 1500 will join the Ford F-150 and Toyota Tundra in only being available with six-cylinder power – though its rivals feature V6s, not straight-sixes – as the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 becomes the only model remaining in the segment with a V8 engine. And it's waaay bigger than I expected (I didn't check the measurements). Overall, perfect for a Friends fan!" — Amina Don't forget to also get them some food coloring so they can really bring their creations to life. Promising review: "I was highly impressed when it came in. It's well made and sturdy, can be used to cook other things (as it is a griddle), and the templates made it super easy. We had a blast making them. All you need is batter and food coloring." — jessee Promising review: "I love him. He is so cute and so well-made. He is the perfect size and shape. I named him Banana Peel Son since his wool comes off like a banana peel. Adorable. Would recommend to everyone." — Aerebys Stare Promising review: "Sound quality and durability is very good! I like the ability to change the artwork on the cover, the ability to change the brightness of the image, the ability to change the volume of the startup/connect/disconnect, the auto-shutoff and auto-sleep mode toggles, and the ability to set multiple alarms (available on the app only, sadly, not out of the box). There's surprisingly a lot you can do with such a seemingly simple device, and it's made more than a great replacement alarm clock for me, which is initially what I bought it for. Highly recommend if you've got the extra coin to spend on something cute, fun, and practical!" — Soul Breaker Promising review: "I love it! They work great and are so cheerful! I don’t really care if they stop working in a month. They’ll bring me endless delight until then!" — Gertrude Cooper Promising review: "I’m using the sifter for metal detecting in waist-deep water. It’s really rugged. If you’ve seen one of those thick plastic kayaks, this thing is just like one of those. It can take a beating. The size is perfect. I can dump 2–3 shovels full of sand in it, and it still stays afloat. A few shakes to sift out the sand, and there’s your target. Comes with a leash so it won’t float away." — SEEK and DETECT This is cruelty- and paraben-free and vegan! Plus, it comes in recyclable packaging. Alleyoop is woman-owned and sells a wonderful assortment of beauty products. Promising review: "I love the ease of this product. It’s so perfect, and the colors are great for all looks — casual, fancy, quarantine extra, everything! I love how effortless it is and how easy it is to use. I’m serious that as a makeup novice, these colors are impossible to mess up. I love it! " — Stephanie H. Alleyoop Shipping Info: Allow 1–2 business days for processing. Standard shipping takes 3–5 business days, and expedited shipping (available at an additional cost) takes 2–3 business days. Promising review: "This is a beautiful set! It has good quality pieces and is packaged nicely! The colors are nice, and look great on my bookshelf. These would make great gifts. Totally worth it! I love them!" — Teresa Fernandez Promising review : "For Trader Joe's lovers everywhere, this is a fantastic cookbook! It is filled with hints and tips, shopping guidelines, nicely organized recipe categories, and beautiful mouthwatering pictures. I love how the recipes note if they are gluten-free or vegetarian, etc. I ❤ Trader Joe's and I ❤ this cookbook!" — Love My Bookish Life Promising review: "The surface is large, but it can be rolled up and stored away in two minutes! The holes are slightly elevated (to create the holes) but negligible; unlike the one I had a long time ago that returned the ball. I like the shape of the mat (looks way more natural than a rectangular long strip) and the surface is soft and comfortable, yet it feels durable. I have no doubt I can make things more challenging by elevating certain areas underneath if I so desired. The 'sand trap' is also an excellent inclusion as it stops the golf balls from escaping the mat and keeping me from chasing down golf balls. Hopefully it can interest my kids to get off the electronics for a few minutes now and then, and if so, it will deserve an extra star. — Oniomaniac Promising review: "My 10-year-old daughter requested this because she was interested in finding out more about Japan. We had a one-hour tasting party on the living room floor and we compared the snacks to each other and to American snacks. We loved some, and we hated some. She took some duplicates to school and shared them with her friends. You can tell a lot about the culture by common flavors, textures, packaging, serving sizes, and a lot of other things that we saw in this box." — Amazon Customer Promising review: "We love this author and are big fans of her pet-focused work with BuzzFeed, so we had to check out this book! It’s so fun and very well written! If you’re into astrology, this is an awesome read!!" — Amber Promising review: "We’ve only opened the first rock but I’m already impressed. Normally these end up being duds but this one was really spectacular and large! My son is 4 and he’s excited to open the rest for his collection." — Heremeow Promising review: "This was a fun plant. My kids enjoyed watching the leaves pull up and then spread back out. I even mailed one to a family member so they could try it out. I would buy this again!" — Nene582 Promising review: "So cute and I love that it turns on when it senses it is dark. Would also make a cute gift! Could be brighter, but it is perfect for what I was looking for and adds fun to my home." — Julie Promising review: "The perfect night-light for my son’s Star Wars room! He loves it and uses it at bedtime every night. It’s not too bright but also not too dull. Very cool night light to have for any Star Wars or Darth Vader fans!" — Robert Marshall This is top-rack dishwasher-safe! Promising review: "This is one of my favorite kitchen gizmos and it doesn't take up room in the drawer! I eat lots of olives and this keeps me from having to wash or get a clean fork when I'm in the middle of making a salad or just want a snack, and it makes spearing the olives easier too. It comes with two sizes to fit any jar (even though if you need this I feel like you probably get the big jars right?). They are stretchy and easy to get on and off. I usually just rinse it between uses and then wash the whole set up when I open a new jar (which is about weekly)." — Emily Sun Sprinkles Shop is a small business based in Saint Johns, Michigan that sells vases, earrings, stickers, and more! Promising review: "Excellent quality and super fast shipping! It's such a gorgeous and unique piece. As other reviews mentioned, please make sure you note the sizing before buying — this vase is for baby flowers, which I LOVEEE!" — jferro93 Shipping info: Check listing for estimated delivery window. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. Comes with some recipes for inspo. Promising review: "I'm gadget-obsessed and bought this on a whim, and I'm pretty impressed. I used Pam spray, English muffins, ham, cheese, and an egg. I heated it up a little past the recommended time, set a timer for five minutes, used tongs to lift up the compartments, and whaddya know! A perfect, cute little sandwich! I pulled it out with a plastic spatula and set it on a tiny cookie rack to cool so the bottom wouldn't get soggy. Nothing leaked, nothing stuck. Very compact and tidy. Let the contraption cool, then rinse and wipe." — Amazoniac Promising review: "This assembled in a jiffy and looks great in my window. So glad I chose it for the future home of my herb garden. The pots are a good size, and the cord looks sturdy and generously sized (you can just wrap around the bar a few times to shorten it). Note that there are no holes in the pots if you're looking for drainage. But of course, that's why baby Jesus made power tools." — Cautionary Tales Promising review : "This planter brings me so much joy every day! It is well-crafted and beautifully packaged. I appreciate the extra touches, like the fact it comes with a few extra mirrored tiles and that there are different ways to display it — it comes with a stand and nicely braided hanging rope. Every day, my whole living room becomes a party :) Cannot recommend enough." — Phil According to Johns Hopkins , you may want to avoid diffusing oils around larger groups and young children because of the side effects of different oils. You may also want to avoid using an oil diffuser around pets with breathing problems, according to the ASPCA . Promising review: "I love this thing. I have anxiety and insomnia, and I need background noise to function/sleep. This little desktop fountain is SO SOOTHING, both aesthetically and the sound of the little raindrops. If I’m in the room with it, it’s probably on. If you love the sound of rain this is for you . Because I’m paranoid and I want this to last, I run it with plain distilled water and I have not used essential oils with it even though they say it’s fine. It’s very dry here right now, and I still only have to top up the water every few days even with it running daily . It’s a solid 12/10 from me." — Violet Promising review: "Bought this for an activity for my daughter's 10th birthday!! OMG!!! You would have thought (enter your favorite celebrity here) showed up!! The kids loved it! It was easy to do for the kids...but make sure YOU COVER EVERYTHING YOU DON'T WANT TIE-DYED!! Great product!!" — Dani Josh lane Promising review: "I give 1 star...hardcover is too hard. Just kidding! I give this 5 stars. Without a doubt, this is my favorite coffee table book and surprisingly also super educational. Perfect combination of sassy and informative while poking fun at 1-star reviews of some amazing national parks. I love, love all the added educational snippets along with the review illustrations. And Amber’s writing style is so personal and relatable I feel like we could be friends. Such a fun book, so worth the buy!" — Anna Algis Crafts is a family-owned small business that sells handmade embossed rolling pins, personalized cutting boards, and more! Promising review: "I actually purchased these rolling pins for making designs in clay/pottery so that is what I am using them for. They make beautiful designs in the clay!" — Amazon Customer Promising review: "My best friend is always telling me new facts about the most random things so when I saw this, I knew it had to be added to his bookshelf. And let me tell you the list of random facts keeps on coming. Yeah, yeah, I know...the internet...but sometimes it’s nice to disconnect from technology and read a real book. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase." — Gregory Promising review: "I bought this as a gift. It’s small enough to not get in the way and clamps down securely on the desk. It gives a satisfying spring/bounce when you punch it, but it is stiff enough that it’s not flying around and hitting everything else on the desk. For what it is, I’m happy with it." — Jen Promising review: "Just got this puzzle for something to do at home over the holidays. Seriously...I have never seen a puzzle quite like this! It’s very impressive and exceeded my expectations already. The packaging is beautiful inside and out. Everything about it shouts quality. I particularly liked the envelopes inside for the puzzle pieces and mystery. Heavyweight and substantial. The one holding the 1,000 puzzle pieces stays closed with Velcro! How cool! And the secret mystery envelope has a cool string loop tie. Makes you remember you can’t open it until the puzzle is done. The whole vibe of The Mystic Maze is quality and fun and it also looks like a challenging puzzle. Looking forward to getting started on this. Certainly a good stay-home fun activity. Highly recommend!" — Kyle Fletcher KC Cups is a woman-owned small business based in Kansas that sells personalized engraved tumblers. This gift is approved by BuzzFeed editor Elizabeth Lilly : "I got these cuties for two of my friends who bought houses in late 2020 with their cities personalized on them. Basically no one is as obsessed with Housewives as I am, but lots of our group chats entail rehashing the latest eps (except RHOC bc, let's face it, it's awful). So when my colleague Heather Braga put this tumbler in her gifts for Bravo fans , I couldn't wait to order them. They've both received them and LOVE them. One friend cried! But a good cry. Will Riley scored a game-high 19 points off the bench as No. 25 Illinois shrugged off a slow start to earn an 87-40 nonconference victory over Maryland Eastern Shore on Saturday afternoon in Champaign, Ill. Morez Johnson Jr. recorded his first double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds, Kylan Boswell posted 13 points and Tomislav Ivisic contributed 11 for Illinois (4-1). Coming off a 100-87 loss to No. 8 Alabama on Wednesday, the Illini led by as much as 52 despite hitting just 10-of-40 3-point attempts. Jalen Ware paced Maryland Eastern Shore (2-6) with 10 points before fouling out. Ketron "KC" Shaw, who entered Saturday in the top 20 of Division I scorers at 22.3 points per game, went scoreless in the first half and finished with seven points on 2-of-11 shooting. The Hawks canned just 22.1 percent of their shots from the floor. Illinois broke out to a 6-0 lead in the first 2:06, then missed its next six shots. That gave the Hawks time to pull into an 8-8 tie on Evan Johnson's 17-foot pullup at the 12:21 mark. That marked Maryland Eastern Shore's last points for more than seven minutes as the Illini reeled off 17 straight points to remove any suspense. Johnson opened the spree with a basket and two free throws, Ben Humrichous swished a 3-pointer and Tre White sank a layup before Kasparas Jakucionis fed Ivisic for a 3-pointer and an alley-oop layup. Jakucionis set up Johnson for a free throw, then drove for an unchallenged layup to make it 25-8 with 5:15 left in the first. Evan Johnson snapped the visitors' dry spell with a driving layup at the 4:56 mark, but Illinois went on to establish a 35-15 halftime lead on the stretch of 11 offensive rebounds that turned into 12 second-chance points and 13 points off UMES' 10 turnovers. Maryland Eastern Shore needed nearly four minutes to get its first points in the second half as Illinois pushed its lead to 42-15. The Illini margin ballooned all the way to 70-24 on Boswell's driving layup with 8:11 to go. --Field Level MediaTesco shoppers rush to buy ‘bargain’ Grinch products scanning at just £5 instead of £25

Labour Minister and Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dr. Anil Jayantha Fernando Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma Top ministers yesterday outlined the Government’s progress in economic stability and debt restructuring plans and its proposed relief measures for the public. Labour Minister and Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dr. Anil Jayantha Fernando and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma at a press briefing held at the Presidential Media Centre (PMC), explained on efforts taken to stabilise the economy and initiatives way forward. In terms of economic stabilisation, Prof. Fernando stressed it is key to take the country out of the abyss created by past regimes. “At the time the Government assumed office those who are responsible for the crisis had unilaterally suspended external debt servicing in April 2022, entered into IMF program for Extended Fund Facility (EFF) of approximately $ 3 billion over a period of four years to be received in eight instalments, and paddled through the IMF program and debt restructuring process connected to in in line with debt sustainability analysis connected to it. The delayed and complex nature of the debt restructuring process incurred additional costs to the country and created additional burdens on the people. However after, considering both pros and cons of the context prevailed at that time in terms of social, political and economic perspective, the Government proceeded with the options in the best interest of the people of the country,” he said. He noted it was possible to reach the staff-level agreement of the third review on 26 November 2024, in line with the program parameters, and Government revenue measures with appropriate engagement, and timely facilitation. In the lead-up to the board approval from the IMF, the Government is engaging with necessary stakeholders to obtain the next tranche of the EFF. Regarding debt restructuring Prof. Fernando stated that it consists of both domestic and external restructuring. Domestic debt restructuring was completed in July 2023. External restructuring excludes multilateral creditors on various grounds and arguments. The rest consists of official bilateral debt and private ISB holders. He said the bilateral debt is dealt with the Official Creditor Committee (OCC) co-chaired by France, India and Japan representing 17 countries, China Exim Bank, China Development bank, other official creditors (Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Pakistan) and other commercial creditors. “OCC had agreed to the terms and conditions in June 2024 and the loans with China Exim Bank had already been restructured in October 2023 within the agreed framework, ensuring comparability of treatment (CoT). Except the other official creditors (Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Pakistan) accounting roughly $ 300 million representing about 1% total external debt subject restructuring , all other bilateral creditors have already agreed for restructuring within the agreed framework,” he explained. The Minister also noted that much delayed ISB restructuring had passed several stages of negotiations with agreements, disagreements, changes to proposals, adjustments in line with DSA and IMF consents, and had finally agreed in principle (AIP) on 19 September 2024 just two days prior to the presidential election. Ad Hoc Group (AHG) and Local Banking Consortium represent ISBs which account for $ 14.2 billion including a past due interest of $ 1.7 billion. “By prioritising and facilitating actions in a timely manner, the new Government has demonstrated a strong political commitment to steering the country toward economic stability. These efforts toward financial stability have been independently acknowledged by third parties, including rating agencies which have upgraded the ratings by several notches, which was only possible due to the correct prioritisation and implementation of economic stabilisation measures. Hence, the Government continued with the restructuring process and facilitated it to ensure the successful completion of the issuance of new bonds for the exchange of existing ones on 20 December 2024 in order to achieve the critical objective of stabilising the economy in pursue of navigating the country with the growth and development trajectory towards a thriving nation and beautiful life,” Prof. Fernando explained. In terms of the SME sector facilitation, Dr. Suriyapperuma elaborated on extending Parate law suspension. He said instead of merely postponing the Parate execution date, the Government engaged with stakeholder groups to ensure acceptable solutions were found for this long-standing issue. As a result, the Parate execution has now been extended until 31 March 2025. “The relief for businesses is not only in the form of an extension of time. Based on data provided by the Central Bank, 99% of borrowers with outstanding capital of less than Rs. 25 million in restructured loans have been granted a 12-month extension to renegotiate with banks and agree on a settlement path. Borrowers with debts between Rs. 25 and 50 million have been granted a nine-month extension, while all other borrowers are entitled to a six-month extension. This relief package, proposed by the Government and to be implemented through the Central Bank, also includes several other important measures, such as easing the credit rating status, extending the repayment period, offering low interest rates for restructured debt, and providing a transparent mechanism to resolve valuation disputes,” he explained. Dr. Suriyapperuma said the package aims to ensure that the SME sector can actively contribute to the economy. In terms of school stationary assistance for children particularly for Aswesuma recipient families, he said Rs. 6,000 per child has been allocated to purchase essential school books and stationery for the upcoming school term to ease the burden on parents from vulnerable groups in society. He also said children from families who are not currently receiving Aswesuma, but are facing economic hardship will also be provided with this benefit, based on recommendations from the Ministry of Education. “It is expected that the process will be finalised soon, and the disbursement scheme will start within a few days, ensuring that all deserving children facing economic hardship receive assistance,” Dr. Suriyapperuma assured.

1. Clinique Almost Lipstick Tinted Lip Balm in Black Honey that you're definitely going to want to stock up on *now*, before TikTokers go feral again (guilty as charged). This cult-classic, lightweight, slightly glossy shade is beyond "holy grail" status — it matches skin tones so beautifully that I'm personally starting to suspect witchcraft, after seeing so many TikToks of it subtly transforming entire beauty looks with just a few swipes. I was very adamant about not buying this for the longest time because I am stubborn about "expensive" beauty products, but this is worth every penny and then some . It's so lightweight and layerable, it's foolproof to apply, and I have yet to wear a single outfit it doesn't complement??? I love watching it instantly elevate a casual look or add simple elegance to dressy ones. I wear it every day now, and after weeks of use, I've barely made a dent . Also, and maybe this is just me, but I tend to get pigment on my teeth with a lot of lip products, and I've simply never had an issue with this magic stick. Anyway, watch this TikTok of someone using it on their lips AND cheeks , because I did and oops, this lipstick FELL into my cart. Get it from Amazon for $21.25 . 2. TruSkin vitamin C serum that just short of startles reviewers for how fast it visibly brightens and firms skin even from the first use, and how well it reduces wrinkles and the appearance of dark spots over time. This may be on the pricier side of skincare, but reviewers compare the cult-fave blend of vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin E to the $182 SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic serum. With over 95,000 5-star reviews on Amazon and dozens of before-and-after reviewer photos, the hype is more than earned. Promising review: "I struggled with acne for over 12 years . I tried medications, pretty much every skincare line out there, but thanks to a random girl on TikTok, I found this product and will never go back. This is the only serum that has helped clear my scars! I never write reviews, but because I noticed a difference within days of using, I had to write one. I’m only on month two and I have seen a noticeable difference. My skin looks clear/lighter/glowing/young for the first time since my preteen years . I use this vitamin C serum and a simple wash and moisturizer/sunscreen every day, and that’s it!" — Rebekah Get it from Amazon for $37.36 . 3. Ultra high-rise Levi's jeans that are TikTok-beloved for good reason — reviewers are obsessed with how versatile, timeless, and comfortable these are, making them an all-seasons denim investment your butt will surely thank you for! Promising review: "My favorite jeans of all time. High waisted Levi’s are so comfy, so high quality, so adorable... my daughter stole mine and I had to buy another pair. She is 27, I am 49. These jeans rock a multitude of generations and body types. The dark wash is my favorite and they are a thick denim, cool button fly and not much stretch. Levi’s will never go out of style." — patrice hedrick Get it from Amazon for $51.27+ (available in women's sizes 22–39 and 15 styles). 4. K18's Leave-In Molecular Hair Mask for a literal four-minute, no-rinse fix to help restore dry or damaged hair, whether it's from bleach, heat, chemical services, or "check all of the above." Odds are, if you've heard of it before, it was from your stylist — it's one of those "if you know, you KNOW" products that's well worth the price. K18 is a small business that specializes in hair products. To use, wash your hair with shampoo and not conditioner. Towel dry your hair and apply the hair mask, leaving it for four minutes. Then style as usual without rinsing. Here's what BuzzFeeder Melanie Aman says about it : "I bleach my dark brown-black Asian hair blonde every six to eight weeks, so I was immediately intrigued when I first heard some stylists at my salon raving about K18. I was gobsmacked at how much softer my hair was. Seriously. I spent the whole day touching my hair, and even my boyfriend agreed that my mane was noticeably silkier. Olaplex was my go-to before I tried K18 and I still stand by it as a product, but I really love that K18 is a leave-in treatment rather than an in-shower mask. Having to let the Olaplex sit for 10 minutes felt like forever, especially when I wasn't taking an everything shower (you know, the ones where you exfoliate and shave). With K18, you let it sit in your hair for four minutes post shower to activate and then you can style your hair (or just let it air dry like I do). I've found that my hair is softest the next day, so don't be discouraged if your hair looks or feels the same the day you use it ." Promising review: "My hair stylist recommended this product for my hair and it was such a superior product to anything else I have used. It is expensive and I have long hair so it is doubly expensive, but so worth it. As I aged my hair became really frizzy and dry, but this product changed everything, leaving my hair so manageable, silky, soft, body and no frizz . I cannot say enough good things about K18." — Dawne Get it from Amazon for $29 . 5. MagicMinerals AirBrush Foundation , which lives up to its name and THEN some — one quick spray of the foundation on the included brush, and it glides so smoothly and subtly over your skin texture that you'll feel like a makeup artist did it for you. Reviewers in their thirties, forties, and up especially swear by this lightweight but effective formula, and love that it's ridiculously easy to use. Jerome Alexander is a small business that specializes in airbrush cosmetic products. HELLO — I found this through a recommendation on a Reddit beauty forum for people in their thirties, and I am OBSESSED. I am not very skilled with makeup and was intimidated by the brush factor, but it's nearly foolproof . This foundation straight-up glosses over my pores and redness and makes my skin look so even-toned and natural that it doesn't look like I used much foundation at all. It's a bit price-y compared to brands I used in the past, but I'm still on my first bottle of it, and it's been three full months. I hope this never stops getting made. It is so lightweight and lovely and has made my makeup routine feel like a TREAT. Promising review : "Bought this because I saw it on TikTok, and it did not disappoint. I love the lightweight feel of it and how easy it is to build." — Smickens Get it from Amazon for $14.99 (available in 10 shades). 6. A set of reviewer-beloved "Loops Engage 2," a meticulously designed ear plug that blocks out distracting, irritating, or overwhelming noise without completely blocking out the world around you — meaning you can wear them to focus at the office or keep yourself from getting overstimulated in a noisy home without seeming antisocial. (Especially since these are so subtle that nobody will notice them!) Promising review: "I work in a laboratory so I am constantly surrounded by lots of sounds varying in pitch and frequency which can be very overwhelming, especially for someone with noise sensitivities. I have had multiple people recommend these to me, so I decided to give them a try. I so happy I did! When I put these in it feels like I’m coming into my peaceful little bubble. They allow me to have a higher tolerance of noise and have overall reduced my stress and overstimulation of the environment I’m in. It seems like they do a good job at blocking out noises I personally find the most distressing (ie. high pitched, constant noises)." — Makayla Get it from Amazon for $34.95 (available in nine colors; check out Loop's Amazon Storefront for more options related to concerts, offices, and parenting!). 7. A beautifully packaged, travel-friendly Touchland Power Mist hydrating hand sanitizer for anyone who's like "mindfully practicing health and safety, but make it fashion." Unlike other sanitizer sprays, it's infused with aloe vera to keep your skin hydrated and has the most luxurious floral scents. Touchland is a small business that specializes in hand sanitizers. Promising review: "Touchland's hand sanitizers are absolutely beautiful! Not only is the packaging functional for travel, but it’s pretty! Absolutely no issues with the product or the design of the packaging leaking, and it’s extremely easy to use! No sticky residue, and your hands feel completely hydrated and soft after each use . I’m especially impressed with this perk, considering most hand sanitizers leave your skin feel tight and dry . No leaks, great hydration, phenomenal fragrance.... what’s not to LOVE!!!? 🤍 SPOIL YOURSELF, NO EXCUSES NECESSARY!" — Briana R. Get it from Amazon for $16 (available in Lily of the Valley and Rose scents; check out Touchland's Amazon storefront for more options). 8. Kahi Wrinkle Bounce Hydrating Multi-Balm , a Korean beauty product you may have already seen taking TikTok by storm — this easy peasy all-in-one moisturizer for your face, lips, eyes, *and* neck is formulated with salmon complex and collagen to help reduce fine lines and boost radiance. Thank Me Later Eyeshadow Base to make anyone with oily skin REJOICE!! This formula locks eyeshadow in place to prevent the pigments from creasing or smudging, which is a very rude thing for your eyeshadow to do after you've worked so darn hard on it. Promising review: "So let me start by saying I have used nearly every eyeshadow primer available. From high end to low...they don't hold a candle to Thank Me Later. I have very oily skin. I have yet to try vegetables, but parsnips are in the near future as are beats. Only criticism would be to invest in some kind of trivet to keep the meat you’re cooking out of the liquid. [You may also click here for additional information] NEW YORK, Nov. 30, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP , a leading national securities law firm, is investigating potential claims against The Toronto-Dominion Bank ("TD" or the "Company") (NYSE: TD ) and reminds investors of the December 23, 2024 deadline to seek the role of lead plaintiff in a federal securities class action that has been filed against the Company. Faruqi & Faruqi is a leading national securities law firm with offices in New York, Pennsylvania, California and Georgia. The firm has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for investors since its founding in 1995. See . As detailed below, the complaint alleges that defendants provided investors with material information concerning the scope of the issues surrounding TD's anti-money laundering ("AML") program employed to comply with the United States' Bank Secrecy Act ('BSA"), the ability for defendants to "fix" those issues, and the punitive and remedial compliance measures likely to be imposed upon TD through the resolution of these investigations. Defendants' statements included, among other things, confidence in the Company's optimistic claims of updating and fixing the existing AML program, alleging a full understanding of the scope of the issues the program was facing, and setting aside specific provisional estimates as to the monetary impact of the punitive and compliance measures believed to be imposed. Defendants provided these overwhelmingly positive statements to investors while, at the same time, disseminating materially false and misleading statements and/or concealing material adverse facts concerning the true state of TD's AML program; pertinently, TD concealed or otherwise minimized the significance of the failures of the Company's AML program and made no indication that the imposition of an asset cap or other punitive or compliance measures would be imposed that would undermine TD's continued growth for the foreseeable future. Such statements absent these material facts caused shareholders to purchase TD's securities at artificially inflated prices. On October 10, 2024, TD unveiled the resolutions reached from the United States investigations, which included, in addition to the punitive payment of $3.09 billion, both an asset cap, preventing TD's U.S. subsidiaries from exceeding a collective $434 billion, a reflection of the Company's assets as of September 30, 2024, and further subjects TD to more stringent approval processes for its product, service, and market rollouts. Further, the Department of Justice, in their own corresponding release, highlighted the significance of TD's failures as "the largest bank in U.S. history to plead guilty to Bank Secrecy Act program failures, and the first US bank in history to plead guilty to conspiracy to commit money laundering." The unveiling of the scope of the Company's AML failures surprised investors and analysts alike as they reacted immediately to the revelations. The price of TD's common stock declined dramatically. From a closing market price of $63.51 per share on October 9, 2024, TD's stock price fell to $59.44 per share on October 10, 2024, and further to $57.01 on October 11, 2024, a decline of more than 10.23% in the span of just two days. Bob Dylan has six kids from his previous marriages to Sara Lownds and Carolyn Dennis. Dylan and Lownds welcomed four kids together and the singer adopted Lownds' daughter, Maria. Dylan shares a daughter named Desiree with Carolyn Dennis, whom he was married to from 1986 to 1992. Bob Dylan is a 10-time Grammy Award winner and is considered one of the most prolific singer-songwriters of all time, but his personal life is surprisingly low key. The Minnesota native's rise to fame in the '60s is the focal point of James Mangold's latest film, " A Complete Unknown ," which stars Timothée Chalamet as Dylan. The movie also features Monica Barbaro as the folk singer Joan Baez and Elle Fanning as Sylvie Russo, a fictional version of Dylan's girlfriend at the time, Suze Rotolo. In real life, Dylan, now 83, was twice married and shares six kids with his ex-wives. Here's everything to know about them. Dylan welcomed 4 children with his first wife, Sara Lownds, and adopted her daughter from a previous marriage Dylan and Lownds were married from November 1965 to June 1977. During their relationship, Dylan adopted Maria Lownds (born on October 21, 1961), Sara's daughter from her marriage to the photographer Hans Lownds. Maria changed her last name to Dylan after the musician legally became her father. According to Howard Sounes' 2001 Dylan biography, "Down the Highway: The Life of Bob Dylan," Maria became a copyright lawyer and welcomed four kids with her husband Peter Himmelman. Dylan and Lownds' first child together, Jesse Byron Dylan, was born on January 6, 1966. Jesse got into filmmaking and directed music videos for artists including Dylan, Lenny Kravitz , Elvis Costello, and Tom Waits. He's also the director of the comedies "American Wedding" and "Kicking and Screaming." He's the founder and CEO of Wondros, a global creative agency geared toward social change, public health, and the arts. He's also the cohost of the educational podcast called "Wondros Podcast." Jesse and his wife, Susan Taylor, have a son named Pablo William Dylan , born in 1995, and a daughter named daughter Feury Mae Beatrice Dylan, born in 2000. Little is known about Dylan and Lownds' daughter, Anna Lea, who was born on July 11, 1967. According to the biography, she completed college in 1999 at 32 years old, became a painter, and got married. Dylan and Lownds' third child together, Samuel Isaac Abram, was born July 30, 1968. After graduating college, Samuel worked alongside Jesse at the LA-based production company Straw Dogs. He married Stacy Hochheiser, and they have two children, Jonah and Lowell. Dylan and Lownds' youngest child, Jakob Luke, was born on December 9, 1969. Like his famous father, Jakob became a singer-songwriter. Jakob is the lead singer and guitarist of the band The Wallflowers, formed in 1990. The band has released seven studio albums, beginning with its eponymous debut album in 1992. "One Headlight," from the album "Bringing Down the Horse," is perhaps their most notable song. Related stories Separate from the Grammy-winning band, Jakob also released two solo albums: "Seeing Things" in 2008 and "Women and Country" in 2010. In 2011, Jakob earned an honorary Doctor of Letters degree from Idaho State University. He and his wife, Nicole Paige, married in 1992 and have three kids. Dylan shares one child with Carolyn Dennis, his second wife Dennis was Dylan's backing singer. On January 31, 1986, the couple quietly welcomed one child together, a daughter named Desiree Gabrielle Dennis-Dylan. Their secret wedding took place in LA in June of that year, and their marriage ended in 1992. Dylan and Dennis' child and marriage were kept a secret from the press for years. Upon the release of Sounes' biography, Dennis explained that she and Dylan mutually agreed to keep their marriage a secret so their daughter could have a normal childhood.Cancer Daily Horoscope Today, Dec 10, 2024 predicts good fortune

She even had to fight to take her newborn home from the hospital. The Victorian mum has spent years researching and implementing new strategies to improve Angel's mobility and independence. She found horse riding to be the most effective therapy for helping Angel physically and inspiring his confidence and understanding of his potential. Now, Angel is having the adventure of a lifetime. He and his mum and her 14-year-old god-daughter, Iluka Thieme, with four horses and an assistance dog called Celeste, are horseback riding the National Trail, this week stopping in Canberra for Christmas. Angel Cropley on his horse Pippin with mum Sascha Yeomans at one of their stopovers while riding the National Trail, Pegasus Riding for the Disabled in Canberra. Picture by Gary Ramage And, like everywhere else on the National Trail, they have been moved by the kindness of strangers. Pegasus Rising for the Disabled in Holt put them up in a common room, giving them the luxury over the Christmas break of a roof overhead, showers, toilets and a kettle (!) for tea. "What else do you need?" a gleeful Sascha said. And a random encounter at the post office in Yarralumla delivered them a beautiful Christmas lunch with new friends. Angel Cropley, 15, has gained so much confidence horse riding on the National Trail he's now talking about travelling overseas with friends one day. Picture by Gary Ramage Sasha had sent ahead a box of dehydrated food to the post office in Yarralumla and got talking to a local woman, Tash Leonard, when she went to pick it up. "She asked us what we were doing for Christmas and we said we didn't have plans; she invited us for lunch with her family, which was amazing," Sascha said. "We've had just so many kind offers." Sascha, Angel and Iluka had Christmas lunch in Yarralumla with Tash Leonard and her family after Tash met Sascha in the local post office. Picture supplied Persistent rain in winter played havoc with the horses' hooves and the little party stayed for two weeks at the showgrounds in Taralga, north-east of Canberra, so the horses could rest and heal. "Somebody put a notice on their community Facebook page, and I think the whole town turned out. People just came past with meals and wines and coffee and wood and meat. So much meat! It was incredible," Sascha said. On an earlier visit to Canberra, they had also tried to connect with the Kambah Pony Club to find a place to stay, but couldn't find any contact numbers or get any responses from emails or social media messages. "Then this car stopped by the side of the road, and it was this young woman and she went, 'Oh you've got horses, what are you doing?' So we told her what we were doing and that we were hoping to stay at the Kamba pony club and she said, 'Oh, my mum's the secretary, I'll bring the key around, just message me when you arrive'," Sascha said. "And it just feels like the whole trail has been like that. "Every day you are walking into the unknown and every morning there is that little anxious feeling of, 'What are we going to face? and 'What's ahead"'. And, every day, unexpected doors open and it's incredible." Sascha Yeomans (right) with son Angel Cropley, 15, and god-daughter Iluka Thieme, 14, at Pegasus in Canberra this week during a break from their horse riding adventures. Picture by Megan Doherty The National Trail runs along the Great Dividing Range, covering 5330km from Healesville in Victoria to Cooktown in Queensland. The trail follows old stock routes and bush tracks as well as cutting through private property. Former National Party member for Monaro, Peter Cochran, one of the volunteer trail coordinators, also invited Sascha, Angel and Iluka to stay on his property in the Snowy Mountains, which includes part of the trail. Sascha, who is from Beechworth in Victoria, has been preparing Angel for the ride for six years, gradually getting him used to horses and being in the saddle solo. As puberty hit, Angel was facing musculoskeletal-skeletal issues that his mum wanted to do "everything to prevent", including scoliosis . Ahead of riding the trail, mother and son rode the 480km Tasmanian Trail, from Devonport to Dover, raising more than $16,000 for Riding for the Disabled Australia. They have now been riding the southern parts of the National Trail, on and off, over the past year. Six hours in the saddle every day riding the trail has strengthened Angel, both physically and mentally. And he's progressed in leaps and bounds. From hardly balancing on the horse to being able to get up in the saddle by himself and then ride for hours "In Kosciuszko, he was off the lead, normally I lead him, and he was rising trot for three or four hours of the day and singing loudly. I never would have thought that was possible. Unbelievable," Sasha said. "Angel's walk has also improved dramatically. It was actually the Children's Hospital in Melbourne that first suggested we try horse riding to improve a whole lot of issues that were going on. And it's been better than we ever imagined. Not just physically, but emotionally. Learning how to put animals first and take responsibility for things." Angel and his horse Pippin. Picture by Gary Ramage Angel has also grown in confidence and is now talking about one day traveling to Europe with Iluka. "I think being a disabled person in a regional area like we were, you're very limited," Sascha said. "This has given him such a sense of the world being possible." The dog, one of the horses and Angel all have satellite tracking collars on them in case were lose them. - Angel's mum Sascha Yeomans After Canberra, they are heading north, taking each day as it comes, but then taking a break for the hottest part of summer, resuming in autumn. "If we could ride the whole of NSW, that would be good. We'll go into Queensland and see. I'm not thrilled with crocodiles," Sascha said, with a laugh. "But we might just get in the groove." The little party is heading north after Canberra. Picture by Megan Doherty The ride takes enormous preparation and planning by Sascha and her husband, Tom, who coordinates it all from back home in Victoria. That includes making sure Angel, who has a big appetite, remains well-fed. Amazonia protein powders ended up as a sponsor, helping them keep up Angel's energy. Sascha also sends ahead boxes of freeze-dried meats and dehydrated vegetables from Campers Pantry to various locations on the trail. She and Angel have, over the years, also learnt how to do a myriad of practical things, from how to tie a good knot to put together a light pack. And Sasha works hard to prevent, as much as possible, anything from going wrong on the trail. "Safety is so important," she said. "We've got packs on every horse, not just one horse. Every horse has some form of shelter on them and some form of food for a night or two. And some form of warmth on them. And we've all got backpacks that have compasses and water and first aid, snake bandages, whistles, an emergency SOS device. "The dog, one of the horses and Angel all have satellite tracking collars on them in case were lose them. The horses have bells on them at night. Our whole campsite is reflective and high-vis." The travelling party includes Celetes the dog, four horses, Sascha and her son Angel and god-daughter Iluka. Picture by Gary Ramage Sascha, like any teenage boy, is not one to heap praise on his mum. But it's clear he loves his "fun" mum. "She's a good mum," he said. And Iluka will soon be heading back home to resume school. "It's been so incredible to be on this journey with people I love," she said. They're also very appreciative of the help they received from Pegasus. Pegasus Riding for the Disabled in the ACT has for decades known the joys and benefits of horse riding for people with disabilities. The much-loved organisation will in 2025 celebrate its 50 th birthday, the first meeting of the association that would become Pegasus taking place in June, 1975. Pegasus CEO Matt Watson said it was more than happy to help Angel, Sasha and Iluka - and their horses and Celeste the dog - have a place to stay at its Holt headquarters over Christmas. Mr Watson actually met Sascha at a conference a year ago. "Once I heard about what they were doing, I said 'Make sure when you get to Canberra you come and say g'day'," he said. "It was fantastic talking to them and hearing about their trip. I think it just shows, again, the magic of horse riding and how it can open up a new world for people with disabilities." The CEO of the B.C. Restaurant and Food Services Association, Ian Tostenson, said the shows that ended Sunday had an effect that went far beyond other concert or sporting events in the city. Tostenson said Monday that his group estimates there was a $25 million boost for Metro Vancouver’s establishments for each of the three show days. In comparison, a sold-out, highly anticipated Vancouver Canucks playoff game brings an estimated $3 million a day in economic impact, Tostenson said. “In the context of comparing to anything else, it’s not even believable almost — it’s such a huge impact,” Tostenson said. “I was out a little bit on Friday and Saturday, and every place I went to was absolutely lined up and packed.” Tostenson said the concerts rivalled the Olympics in drawing fans from regions far beyond what a typical playoff hockey game would, and while it is difficult to compare the 2010 Winter Games to the Taylor Swift weekend, the events were in the same magnitude in daily impact on restaurants. “The financial impact of the Olympics was massive, (but) it was spread out over a couple weeks in different venues and stuff,” he said. “So, you didn't sort of feel this concentration that you saw with Taylor Swift.” Tostenson also said Swifties bumped up business across Metro Vancouver all weekend, with one major restaurant owner with multiple locations reporting full capacity not just at its downtown location but also in North Vancouver and Olympic Village. He credits the festive mood brought by fans that had an emotional effect on people in general, which in turn has a major impact on restaurants, an industry built largely on discretionary spending. People consume more when the mood is right, he said. “From a financial point of view, the Olympics probably had a bigger impact,” Tostenson said. “But ... I'm going to venture to estimate that this, on a daily basis compared to the Olympics, was stronger.” Telecommunications giant Rogers said data used during the last show was enough to stream Swift's entire music catalogue 9,450 times. It said in a statement that fans on the company's network set a Canadian record when they used more than 11 terabytes of mobile data in just a few hours at BC Place. The company's chief technology officer Mark Kennedy said Monday that is the equivalent of uploading 307,000 photos and 2,180 hours of video streaming. The previous record was set Nov. 21, when fans at Swift's concert in Toronto used 7.4 terabytes of data on the Rogers network. Music industry publication Pollstar also said Monday that Swift's 149-show worldwide tour brought in revenue of US$2.2 billion in its 20-month run. Vancouver Police thanked residents and visitors for a "safe and memorable weekend." Const. Tania Visintin said in a social media post that police spent months preparing for the shows. "We've had so much fun meeting people of all ages from all around the world, trading friendship bracelets and showing what a great city it can really be when we all look out for one another," she said. Thirteen Swift-themed lighting installations were set up at locations around the city to celebrate the singer's arrival. Suzanne Walters, a spokeswoman for Destination Vancouver, said most of the lit-up letters will be coming down over the next few days, but the “Swiftcouver” display downtown will stay until Dec. 13 — Swift’s birthday. Walters said the letters will be reused for holiday displays over the month of December and then be part of a pool of rentable supplies. Swift told the 60,000 fans in BC Place at Sunday's show that they were part of a tour seen by 10 million people, and that it was the most thrilling chapter of her life to date. She said the legacy of the tour will be "a space of joy and togetherness and love" that the fans have created. Swiftie Alaina Robertson echoed Swift's sentiments after the show, saying she shed lots of tears watching the "once in a lifetime" spectacle. Robertson — who travelled from Camas, Wash., for the show and wore a "Reputation" inspired outfit along with a temporary silver bedazzled snake tattoo — said she doesn't think any other concert will be able to compare. "It's going to be hard to beat," she said of the show. "She's changing the world of music. She's changing entertainment entirely, and to be at the tour with the crowd here, getting to do the friendship bracelets, getting to get dressed up — it's just love and joy and friendship, and it's been really magical to be a part of it." Fan accounts on social media platform X have posted photos showing a number of television and music stars at BC Place Sunday night, including actors Jenna Fischer, Aubrey Plaza and Jesse Tyler Ferguson as well as Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder. — With files from Ashley Joannou, Brieanna Charlebois and The Associated Press This report by The Canadian Press was first published Dec. 9, 2024.
